Hey girls!

I just wanted to write on here while I had the chance. I hope you all are having awesome summers! I know I am, my team members here are amazing and I love them to death, but Africa is a completely different place. As a side note, Lainey when you go to South Africa you may want to bring some toilet paper with you I don't know how it will be there, but just so you know....

And Amanda you wouldn't like it because there are so many dogs wandering around, it's a pretty sad place.

Despite those sad things, the people here are so sweet! I've met so many amazing people here and every assumption I've ever made about muslims (or cousins as we're told to speak of them here) was completely wrong, they're some of the nicest people I've ever met. I met some girls on Tuesday who I blogged some about on my blog, but they are sweethearts and please just be praying for them.

Also, this is completely random, but yesterday my friend Annie and I were ministry partners, and we were looking for someone to talk to, when guess what we heard....Justin Beiber?!? I don't know if that amuses you all, but it certainly amused me to hear that in Africa of all places. We actually ended up talking to the group of students who were listening to him, they turned out to be English students. We talked to them for a while about a little bit of everything, it was really neat and one of my favorite times since we've been here, although there have been many wonderful times. One of the guys, who we called Usher because he looked a lot like Usher, was playing American music like Rhinna, Akon, Lil' Wayne, and other artists like that. Anyways, he began asking us what the lyrics to Rude Boy by Rhinna mean, so one of our guys, Justin told him it was giddy-up like a horse because Rhinna is an equestrian, it was pretty funny until he kept repeating other lyrics that we couldn't make anything up for so we just told him the songs were not good and we couldn't say what they mean. Like I said this is a completely random story, but it kind of made my day yesterday. Haha.

Well I miss you girls and I have so much more I could say, but I've already been on this computer for a bit and I still need to check my email and stuff if I can. I love you girls and I hope your having a fantabulous summer!!! :-)
